3G nano iPod video case raising the bar
This latest design in iPod cases from Digital Lifestyle Outfitters (DLO) put some thought in the utilitarian use of the iPod case. Called VideoShell and released for the 3G nano the clear hard-shell case is made of polycarbonate. This tough plastic does the trick in keeping scratches and dents away from your iPod. The third-generation nano slides into the case which cradles the iPod keeping it firmly in place. Users can still access the dock connector and the headphone jack which sits open at the top. The click wheel is accessible through a beveled opening.
The name behind the case is in its utility approach to iPod cases. The case has a slide at the back which then folds out to act as a prop. The stand elevates the iPod a good 4 inches off the surface, giving it a real advantage in watching videos on long journeys where you do not want to have to hold the iPod in front of you for a couple of hours. The case is retailing for $19.99 US.
